Near the quaint village of Saint Raphael, we are located 1km from the village set in 10 acres of matue grounds and panoramic views with rolling valleys and an amazing rear vistas
We are now able to offer boutique and intimate accomodation for families in the lovely part of France.

Amazing surroundings
Set in rolling hills and woodlands Manoir Le Cuvier offers a peaceful and tranquil event space. The main building is a 200 year old ex winery which was converted into a magnificent family home and Gîte accommodation.
The grounds
Grande gated drive way leads you into the impressive home with mature trees and woodland , to the rear a beautiful meadow and private park enclosure, featuring a mini maze established orchard and secluded large private pool area and pool house. Leading up to the south facing side of the Manoir you start at the lower tier terrace with the grand house looming up via a second stone stair way to a large open terraced area, looking back over the meadow and park area you can admire a perfect visa and take in the tranquil setting.
Private seclude pool area
Outdoor pool with electric cover is within a gated secluded enclosure and set out for pool parties and out door dining while you can relax on sun loungers or take a swim. BBQ area and TV in the seating area.

Our exclusive Gîte taking occupying half of the main building is all set for a family for up to 6 suitable for special occasion stays self catering facilities allow you to be flexible on your holiday.
We offer this self contained gite which is situated on the left wing of the main Manoir, with out door spaces including mature park land and secluded gardens with a large private swimming pool, BBQ area and out door dining facilities.

The local supermarket (SuperU) is approx 1km away with local bakeries, pharmacy, café/bars and restaurant just 5 mins away in Excideuil which boasts the land mark Château d'Excideuil which repelled Richard the Lion Heart on three different times and played a significant role in the history of the area also featured is a period church ideal for site-seeing, a local farmers market is on every Thursday where you can by fresh local produce. Manoir Le Cuvier is conveniently close to popular historical and tourist destinations just 7.2 km from Hautefort Castle. 40 km from Jumilhac Castle, and 44 km from Périgueux Golf Course Excideuil has it own golf course to.
The nearest airport is Brive Dordogne Valley Airport, 67 km drive.
Easy access to the D708 and D704 and main motorways to Paris, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
Nearest railway stations – Thivers, Perigueux

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card for refundable holding deposit upon check-in. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. All specialist nights are subject to extra charges a list of which will be supplied prior to final booking.
Handover of the keys will take place upon arrival at the accommodation, after the reservation has been paid in full, 14 days prior to your arrival at the latest. Bed linen is available but pool towels are not available at the property, please make sure you bring your own or request at time of the reservation.

Due to Covid regulations rooms will be cleaned and bed lining change over only on a weekly basis

Amazing tranquil setting
The grounds and surrounding areas are ideal for a quite relaxing holiday, stroll in the woods or through the lavender hedges to the open meadow or chill out by the pool and bbq area for some French style alfresco dining.

Our internal family Gite accommodates up to 6 people, 3 double rooms with double beds family walk in shower room, separate toilet one room has en-suite shower facilities include large communal kitchen and dining area, opening out to terrace and out door space, with BBQ area.
